An EMT is a practitioner within EMS (Emergency Medical Services ,Ambulance Services), and EMS is a link in the Emergency Medical Services System (EMSS). The Emergency Medical Services System is a chain of human and technical resources working together to eliviate pain and suffering and to save lives.
On the matter of Certified EMS Instructors there is a formal academic process of training and certification of EMS/EMT Instructors, at present in the united States the Training and Certifying body is the National Assocition of EMS Educators (Naemse)
