Just too much stuff we don't know.

And the election gimmick continues. They cannot prove that Huntley has any other documents.they cannot find any wrongs.King continue to deny he sign a successor agreement even when D'Auvergne said he did.Doddy's had months to uncover wrongs by Dr Anthony, still looking(how long is the contract?1000 pages?).I believe Dr Anthony needs to confront these guys now, because they know they have been lying to the public about the matter. Also Rick Wayne is doubling down on Dr Anthony;now putting up two articles hoping that his crusade will stick.

If this government was confident in its work they wouldnt have to use Grynberg as a means of winning the next election.this ploy will not win them the upcoming poll

Choops, plz...Doddy's full of s*#^!!

UWP must show strengh by making a few arrest in this case.

This stupid gimmick is just so outrageous now. I have never seen such games played before in St. Lucia. Every single honest Lucian, even the honest and decent Flambeaus who voted Kenny out to return their "Father of the nation", JGM Compton back to power, are now ashamed of this stupid gimmick. These decent UWPees are ashamed of King as Prime Minister, and for this reason he will lose his seat and UWP will be kicked out to where they deserve, with no Compton to save them again. They might get just ONE seat in these elections, just like 1997. The three ROGUES, RRR, Rick, Richard and Rufus know that, and this is what the gimmick is all about. As a Lucian and a former UWP supporter, I'm really tired of this BS. Call elections now!

Anonymous said...

It's about time.Twenty years will do him well for all the pain he's cause the St.Lucian community.Go get him Doddy make the charges stick.Thanks.

Anonymous said...

Go get him? "Bad Bway" Doddy couldn't even convict the little drug pushers in Ciceron, you think he can get a case against Earl Huntley? Are you one of the idiot GIMMICK-men that Anonymous above is talking about? STOP the gimmick, you fool, you're only messing it up more for Stephny.

What did Huntley do that deserves arresting?

Huntley:

1. Did not cheat his own government by not paying taxes on imported goods for personal use.

2. Did not lie under oath.

3. Never been arrested over 5 times for illegal activities.

4. Do not have criminal records and endless aliases.

5. Never put any questionable characters on tv, portraying those characters as role models for the rest of St Lucia to follow.

6 Never under valued imported luxury goods for personal use.

It will take days, possibly months, just TO REVIEW the unbecoming activities of the current government bunch viz; victimization, character assissination, non-performance, broken promises, scandals, etc, etc...

And now on the eve of elections, to distract people, they are on a witch hunt.

Thus Compton saw it fitting not to be associated with the likes of Rufus Bosquet and Richard Fredericks.

Anonymous said...

Amen, Donna...the one that needs arresting is staring them right in the eyes, yet they can't lift a finger against him.

God, where is the FBI, CIA, Interpol or even Mossad, to look into the activities of these misfits and miscreants, especially Richard Fredericks.

Go get him, FBI!

The more this oil nonsense continues the more the UWP, King and Doddy put themselves in hot water, dig a dipper hole for themselves, and look more like the fools we all know them to be.

Let us talk something sensable. Since I think 2008 bedget debate the wise man Frederick spoke about that oil issue. His main points were there was moneys to be paid to the minister of finance(Kenny). He never said files were missing, he even read from the files. I cannot remember if he mentioned it in 2009 or 10. All of a sudden it election year and the UWP HAS FAILED IN EVER SENCE OF THE WORD SO THEY MUST FIND SOMETHING TO CAMPAIGN ABOUT. The two most educated and honest men in the UWP Guy Joseph and Tucker (LOL) joined the fray in their budget presentation. So it take the UWP 3 long years to recognize the contract is missing pages. Now the focus is not on Kenny anymore it is on a private citizen namely Huntely. They have tried so many different thing to see if one could stick, but each time the hole is dug dipper for themselves. Let me try to list them
(1) Moneys are to be paid to Kenny, not even even a form 1 student believed that.

(2) It was a secrete deal, how could something be a secrete and Frederick had the files reading in the house?

(3) Not even Kenny cabinet knew about it, but at the same time Smart man Doddy is saying Kenny did not take the advice of his AG on the matter.

(4) Kenny sold the seabed.

(5) Now the focus is shifted to Huntely saying has the rest of the files.

It is to late now, and there is nothing the UWP can do to bluff St Lucians to win the election. Even though the give everybody money now, that will not save they, they will still loose.

The best thing although it is to late now, for the UWP to do is to try to rebuild St Lucia after the storms, to see if people will have some simpathy for them. But that path they decided to travel will only make things worse for them. I will tell you why.
(1) They will only get support with that by some of their core supporters, not even all.

(2) Anybody who could think for themselves will see that this is an election gimmick from a failed government who did not perform.

(3) Most people are unemployed and they want to hear how they will find a job and not bickering amonst failed UWPees.

(4) This is a waste of time and money of the already poor country, because we all know nothing will come out of that.

Earl Huntley is a known crook.... He surely knows alot more than he is letting on. Every agreement someone signs must be copied and filed for future reference. Especially an agreement like the one in question. So where is the document? Lies! Lies! Lies! I smell and a dirty filthy rat!!!!

Anonymous said...

Thank you Mr. King for doing right thing.

Anonymous said...

Which right thing are you talking about? Please name one (1) right thing King has done in five (5) years?

Anonymous said...

Diversion, diversion, diversion!!

Ban sans honte...!!

The focus should be, on the even of an election, is what you have accomplished during your 5 years in office, not some withc-hunt.

Focus should be on education, health, unemployment, social services, taking St Lucia from a 3rd world to a developing state (Barbados just achived this: Barbados is now a Developing State)...

All the so called UWPeeeeeeeees who write all that nonsense on this board about Kenny. I have one question for them. WHAT HAS KING AND THE UWP DONE WITH THE HUNDREDS Of MILLIONS OF DOLLARS THEY HAVE BORROWED EACH TIME PARLIAMENT IS IN SESSSION? Every little T Cannal project done in the country was financed by the Taiwanese as far as we all know. Instead of focusing on Kenny answer that question. I have seen one governmental project in 5 years.

Anonymous said...

Correction: I have not seen one governmental project in 5 years.

Anonymous said...

Anyone who have seen one successful project of the UWP, anywhere in St Lucia for the last 5 years please name it. I am not talking about their multi million dollar project called Grynberg lol. Name another one.

This is just blustery on the part of Doddy. JUST ONE BIG LOUD FART. They have nothing suggsting criminal intent on the part of either Kenny or Earl Huntley. They are on a fishing expedition. They have seen that they are clutching to a proverbial straw (drowning political fortunes). They are now reverting to innuendo, empty threats, wild accusations, gimmickery, GRAND CHARGE, bullying, fear mongering, the list goes on..

I believe this government is going down. They have seen the writing on the wall and if they were able to render the Grynberg agreement null and void that would have given them one last chance to line their pockets with a payola from the company who would offer the biggest under table bribe and they would all ride into the sunset.

The smart St. Lucian populace will not allow that. The ghost of John Compton will haunt them all and they will never see inside the house of parliament for a very very long time.

It is my hope that Kenny Anthony and the Labour Party woud have learnt a few lessons from them being in exile for that past four years.
What really irks me though is that we are dropping piece for pinez. I would like for the SLP government-in-waiting to disabuse me of this notion.

The St. Lucian population got it right when they dumped SLP for another chance with their hero, their loving leader, their boss man, their benevolent dictator to my mind, John Compton. They were duped into thinking that he was in full control of his faculties and that he would have lasted one last term but that was not to be.
Tey will never hand over the country to the likes of King, Bousquet, Fredericks, Guy etc. that was not part of the bargain. They will take their ball and go home.

Earl is an old crook. It's not a UWP or a SLP thing it's about principal. There is always some fly determined to make the picnic miserable, and this is definitely a situation where a big fly swatter is needed.Shooooo fly go get him Doddy ASAP.

I say arrest the scamp and let him pay for his many known misdeeds while he was getting paid by the public service!

Anonymous said...

Not so fast. Don't fool yourself at all, at all, at all. St. Lucians now more hand to mouth than before need just a few chicken legs and some rum. With that they get a very clear picture of who to vote for in the next elections.

You can read the shame in every UWPS contribution on this blogg, i feel yall pain.Shame have you guys speaking so much crap, i know King laughing at you guys while he singing out loud IS MY JOB I PROTECTING...CONTINUE MAKING A FOOL OF YALL SELF WHILE THESE GUYS TRYING HARD TO MAKE MORE MILLIONS BEFORE THEIR TEEM END......

What a sad day for St. Lucia when rogues, scamps, drug fiends, illiterates, semi-illiterates, reprobates, drug lords, liars under oath, jail birds, and US ex-convicts were voted into the country's parliament. I can't believe sensible people did that. And it is so hard to get rid of these scamps! King call the darn elections!

These people quick, quick, quick to hang, draw and quarter a person even before they reach before a judge and jury, far less the execution docks.

Assumptions, gesticulations, f**k ups!!!

Mr Huntley's open statement seems to have opened an even bigger can of worms; then d'Auvergne finally steps into the play; then the AG hints on an arrest!! See? worms all over the place ...

... all this bruhaha over a simple matter - a proposal to see if oil is available in St Lucian waters!!! If this was passed on to the National Trust, or the environmental (department? society? whatever) - am SURE politics would not rear it's ugly head, and works would have been underway a long time ago.

If anyone sees my red panties, this event will surely be politicised!!

The entire cabinet of the UWP instead.

Politics is always what takes the small beautiful Island of St. Lucia down. These politcians need to stop pointing finger at each other and finding means to humiliate each other. The government needs to try to gain back the beauty of the Island. Strenghtened the immigation rules to filter out all the criminals from the neighbouring Islands that are spoiling the image of the Island and affecting tourism. These issues are far more important than trying to create a government scandal to arrest a prominent citizen to gain political momentum

Huntly to be arrested?

Too little too late.

SLP -Hellinites, NCA, costoveruns, Rochamel, Fenwell, Gynberg, etc.

Now a corrupt vulgar UWP Government has taken over.

The leadership of the SLP when in government was abysmal and they gutted all institutions and were a vindictive lot and appear to be getting ready to do even worst if they come into power again.

One guarantee is that all the corruption that was in the SLP but better covered-up that this present lot - will be swept under the carpet if Labour gets in.

Clearly Huntly has much to answer for as too many time his name has cropped up connected to issues that do not appear above board.

It is a travesty that our civil servants who are supposed to be protecting our government assets have allowed politicians to run amok.

So we have corrupt politicians of both parties. Civil servants who appear to be lost in space and incompetent and these groups are supposed to be our educated "best and brightest" ?

Goes to show the failed liberal mindset of the Caribbean and the inability of this brand of leadership to improve the quality of life of our citizens.

Huntley should be arrested and surcharged. He is a disgrace.

When shall get an arrest warrant for the entire UWP cabinet of ministers? That's the most important thing for the country right now. No tolerance for felons.

Arrest him and charge him for treason. Time to stop him is now.

My Brothers and Sisters,

Politics is a dirty game!!!! Who would have thought that one day Mr. Earl Huntley would be a victim of character assassination in St. Lucia? A son of the soil, an accomplished gentleman who has been the CARICOM Ambassador to Haiti, Ambassador designate of Saint Lucia to CARICOM, St. Lucia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Chairman of the UN’s Special Committee on Decolonization. This man has served his country well; we should be proud to call him one of ours.

What is his crime? Why is his name being dragged through the mud? We should have zero tolerance for this attempt to destroy the reputation of a man who has given so many years of service to this country. Think, if this can happen to him, it can happen to any one of us or god forbid any of our children.

Is there one standard for slp and another for uwp? Bruce Tucker: proven fraudster, R frederick ; clear evidence of underinvoicing, convicted of assault with a firearm in a civil suit, K mondesir; convicted of selling patience information, convicted of assaulting a woman, tuxedo fiasco... No sanctions. Kenny Anthony; challenged all the way to prevy councel, forenzic audit, commision of inquiry.... Nothing found, yet he should never be pm again, while the earlier mentioned can hold the highest offices in the land. Wellcome to sinfull St Lucia.

What is Micah insinuating about?

Anonymous said...

@John Harris, " Who would have thought that one day Mr. Earl Huntley would be a victim of character assassination in St. Lucia"...not until the likes of malicious and kakanez Richard Fredericks entered our local politics, added by his likes as well, namely, Rufus Bosquet (fired twice from the government of John Compton for his unscrupulous deeds), Guy Joseph and Mondesir, to name but three.

Richard Fredericks is the most dangerous person in St. Lucia. If you don't believe me take a walk in the city of Castries at night, or any given day for that matter, and the evidence of his evil deeds are there for all and sundry to see.

The goverment of st lucia should be ashamed. Wow! Why do they want to arrest Huntley when they are all involved in the mess. What have 'King' done for St Lucia but to allow the drug dealers from other countries to take over the island. The people of st lucia wants to be safe walking the streets and at home not interested in you'll mess. The FBI, CIA should investigate the goverment of St Lucia and jail them all.

They quick, quick, quick to point fingers, but they are dirty, dirty like a dog. The person they need to arrest is sitting right at the table with them and they know damn well who he is but scard to speak cause he's a gang leader. The whole UWP is a disgrace to the beautiful Island. UWP does not represent the Island well to benefit the natives. St.Lucia has become very corrupt by the so called "business men" from corrupt Islands. Assumably, the Island has been handed to those corruptors that are in business to make quick dirty money thus leaving the island not very comfortable to visit by the locals that live abroad and the tourists. Why focus on missing documents and talking about arresting Mr. Huntley. Instead, politicians, please go clean the Island. St. Lucians at home and abroad want what they had before. A beautiful, relaxed and not to dangerous "Helen Of The West"

Why do they want to arrest Huntley? The goverment of St Lucia is very dirty, they are all crooks. What is King doing for St Lucia. The island is falling apart with crimes and drugs. Instead of wasting time harrasing Huntley why can't they clean the drug and crime mess on the island. Rick Wayne needs a life.

Doddy should arrest the UWP high ranking offical who beat the women and this Government had to spend the people money to pay for the ladies medical bills.

But I guess that is one of his bad boys friends

Anonymous said...

The arrest must first come from stevenson own cabinet ministers and my fellow lucians this is just an election ploy and gimmick.
They have nothing to run on and think they can fool we.
We ain't stupid this time around
You can fool the people some of the time but not all the time.
This is Uzzah Running to tell king david about amessage of which he has no clue what has happen.

Before Doddy and his gang take about arrest, they must first tell us what they did with that hundreds of millions of dollars they have borrowed so far? There is nothing going on in this country. All the T cannal projects were financed by the Taivanese. Atlease we could see prison, schools, stadiums, health centers, police stations, highways, fire stations, forensic lab, ofices blocks car park etc, etc as evidence of the SLP loans. It seem I'm blind so can someone show one or atlease half of something in St Lucia that was done with tax payers money in the last 5 yrs by. Or of the UWP government?

The UWP has been weighed in scales and found wanting. King, old chap, call the elections. Dat up there en working out either. Try another ting?

Anonymous said...

I was once strong uwp who went beyond the call of duty to support them. But today, i could never vote for these bunch of wooligans,
what they did to Sir John, many of us awaited in silence for 5 long years, but on election day we will teach them what it means to be ungrateful. They will pay a high price at the polls, and a disappointing low turn out.

Any right thinking woman would never vote for a party who stood by and watched one of their high ranking members beat up a woman to the point of crippling her while they stood there in silence and did not asked him to resign asap. labour please address this issue on platform to the woman of st.lucia this is important.

I am a young person of Castries North, and it pains me greatly to listen to the back and forth of politicians especially our MP and PM Stephenson King. I have read and listened to the arguments presented on the Grynberg affair, and this issue to me represent one of the most absurd and weakest arguments of this government on the eve of a general elections.

I am not a political idiot... will never be. I am concerned about my future and the future of so many of us who have an education but simply can't find jobs. I am concerned that our leaders are making a mockery of what true leadership should be.

The young people of St.Lucia need positive role models but we are forced to look elsewhere in other places.

I am simply appalled at our PM's ability to lead this country. PM king constantly embarrasses himself, the people of Castries North and all St. Lucians. Often times, I am forced to think that PM King is being led and puppeted by others within his Cabinet.

I look forward to a day when men of integrity and purpose will make their way to the political stage. I see more of those individuals outside the political fray with a few on the political stage.

There are lots of gullible folks out there but St. Lucia's youth will not be lulled into a state of idiocy by lies and unfulfilled promises. I do intend to vote this coming election and I am eagerly waiting to give a chance to Dr. Ubaldus Raymond.

Shame on you King.

Mwe mem, PM King what are you thinking? It seems to me you are not making good use of your brain cells before venturing out to address the citizens. Man, do the right thing and stop showing yourself as a fool to the people of St. Lucia and your party.

It seems every child, young person and older ones too feel sorry for our PM. But one thing that seems to linger on the minds of people nowadays is that King is not the nice man that we were painting him to be. King it would serve you well to retire from politics.
