Economic Challenges Ahead

The Kenny Anthony Administration has new and better tools to ensure that the economy does not spiral downwards. These tools include the broadening of the St. Lucian market and landscape to every single place where St. Lucians exist. As a result, this will create new markets for increased consumption of goods produced locally. The administration now has to get the work-o-holics in place to get the ball rolling. It cannot happen with these lazy executives.

Now tell me you SLP supporter, how can the Kenny Administration ensure that the economy does not spiral downwards when he has sidelined the only qualified PhD Economist in his ranks? Take that in your SLP pipes and smoke it! Eh Ben mi margee

You SLP believed that you knew it all but obviously some of the major decisions taken so far by your government gives a totally different tale.

Our healthcare system is a failing one and what has your Kenny administration done...place the only competent medical doctor to handle the ministry as Deputy Speaker. Eh ben mi margee. That is a classic case of prostituting quality for mediocrity. Take that in your SLP pipes and smoke it!

Oh by the way, there are lots of SLP supporters who share those same sentiments. YOU SLP BLOGGERS DEAL WITH THAT REALITY THAT YOUR VERY OWN ARE ALREADY CRITICIZING THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT. Eh ben bon!

Blogger above you are so right.

We have the right people to join the UWP staring us right in the face. As it stands now vulnerabilities run very high especially among sidelined qualified slp folks like the Drs. Long and Raymond including Albert Fregis. The UWP should target those folks including the well-loved Dr. Allison Plummer and especially Dr.Long and Dr. Raymond.

Mr. King is generally loved among the UWP but we are faced with the reality that Mr.King cannot hold on to the reigns of leadership of the UWP. Mr. King and Mr. Frederick must do what is in the best interest of the party and give up their leadership role with dignity and respect.

The party can regain power with the right group of qualified candidates. The UWP may have sanked at an all time low but the SLP is heading in the same direction especially now that SLP supporters are complaining about Kenny and his policies and his sidelining of Dr. Raymond and Dr.Long. SLP supporters are constantly complaining about Kenny's elitist Cabinet picks in the persons of Fletcher, LaCorbinere, Kim and Foster not to mention his policy on advantages to Opposition MP's.

The UWP party should face the truth, face the reality and gather the pieces quickly to become a formidable Opposition. If that can be achieved we will regain the reign of leadership in the next five years.

There is simply no justifiable excuse for the sidelining of qualified candidates like Dr. Long, Dr. Raymond and others in favour of elites who have never endured hardship on the campaign trails. How can our administration look on and feel satisfied to have a qualified medical doctor as Deputy Speaker and qualified Economist away from Cabinet decisions and national policy formation.

For the life of me I simply do not understand and will never understand this move by my government.

We should not give the crumbled UWP any opportunity to amass strength by our seemingly unscrupulous and ill-advised strategies. The assignment of Dr. Long and Dr.Raymond including the non-assignment of Fregis and Mangal must be addressed speedily.

And yes, our SLP supporters are crying foul all over St.Lucia...let's correct the mistakes. The SLP cannot afford to lose its support among the electorate.
