WRONG POSITIONS!

Now that Carnival has ended, can the parties involved begin to prepare for next year in terms of funding etc.. Can they start raising their own funds so that next year we don't have to hear them arguing about not receiving money from government as if the taxpayers are entitled to fund their bacchanal. This is a perfect opportunity to keep the carnival fever alive and find creative ways to sustain your band for 2k13

Can the carnival committee or whatever they are called now begin to make the calendar of events for next year from now? Can we have a year when the opening of carnival is not postponed or moved somewhere? Can we aspire to a carnival 2k13 with limited drama? Start planning from now so that you have all your business together. Since you insist on asking government for money to fund carnival, can you prepare your request early so that it does not have to be extrabudgetary and create controversy in the media. Can you at least pretend that carnival is at least as important o you as you claim?

If next eyar I hear these same issues and then find out that the carnival committee did the same old thing and showed no evidence of preparation, I will pray that carnival is cancelled, because this is ridiculous.

our tax dollars are being used to fund the bacchanal of ingrates like the above poster. You see why carnival committee needs to make their own money
