‘GANJA’ OUR ECONOMIC SAVIOUR

A very sensible commentary, Arizona USA just legalized Ganja...need to workout the legal conditions under which the trade/sale can take place.

Even IF SLCGA could secure license and exclusive contract to supply a US tate or two based on the medicinal laws in those states- other tropical locations easpecially those with existing preferential trade agreements and freight delivery systems (e.g., Panama "Red" -pun intended) would quickly move in to undercut prices and streamline production /distribution costs; thus wrenching away contracts from lil StLu.
Remember Dole / Chiquita- Bananas / las frutas?

Post rev Nicaraqua alone could supply legitimate Panama with overnight rancheros producing all of the current USA medicinal needs at Hacienda or near feudal labor prices.

The glut of intense agro focus products to satiate the demands of tier i nations e.g. biofue[, coffee, palm oil has detoured premium arable land away from local food production -resulting in the escalating vicious economic VICe um VISE of IMPORTING food for local consumption-
thereby increasing our balance of pas a debit to GNP.

WE need to get on an a serious economic diet, starting with the conservation of land water and fisheries.

That is the focus of the current early stages of global population explosion.

Lord God u who create all things moveable and immovable,
grant 2 me this day the power of faith that by my words this son of the evil one 'de caires can make Granada proud by swimming through the Caribbean sea from St. Lucia 2 his grave in Granada.

Lord I know we St. Lucians have done many abomination against you, Father forgive us our sins.

In the name of Jesus I come against this evil and wicked son of Satan. I stand on the premises of your word that the gates of hell will not prevail. dear God, as I stand in the gap for my Country holding against the power of this son of the evil one. Dear God, as I come in your presence in humility Lord, I come with deepness of sincerity confessing our sins and our shotcomings. Lord, approaching Your great throne of grace, dear God, looking unto You that we might obtain mercy, that we might find grace to fight this evil that is dealing among us. Because we believe You know our very condition and our need. And I prayer, dear God, that You would lift all anxiety, all worry, all tension and pressure, all nervous strain from Your people, that You drive away all evil and indifference from among us. May the spirit of love and power and a sound mind move in and settle upon us. May faith come in our life and stimulate us and anoint us, that our faith be so charged by the Holy Spirit that we can take a hold of the promises of God knowing the promises are yea and amen.
Father I know we are living our life in this Satan's Eden and I am battling the enemy with Your sword; "the word", to drive him away from here on this field of battle with You on our side we are more than conquerors.
Lord our hearts and minds are not just filled with physical needs today, but with the total destruction of the usages of "ganja" and the deportation of this son of Satan 'de caires. we ask all this in Jesus's wonderful name. amen.

CANNABIS 600-700 U.S. DOLLARS PER OZ. LEGALLY IN COLORADO, USA.

BANANAS 10 CENTS PER LB.??

Earlier, I made comments relating to the economic angle of Cannabis, stating in a nutshell that it is a simple matter of time before Lucians fall in line with the USA and begin to produce and export the crop. Of course, there are those afflicted with the Psychosis of White Supremacy who think that it is an act of civilization to get drunk from the ingestion of fermented grape juice/wine, while condemning the decriminalization of Cannabis. But with the White God legalizing Cannabis, the slaves will soon fall in line - who are you kidding?

This is nothing but blatant hypocrisy – how could getting high on alcohol; wine, rum, whiskey be “civilization” as stated by an ignoramus, but getting high from inhaling the fumes of Cannabis be lawlessness?

I am not a proponent of any intoxicant, but the moral argument is mute. Why is the use of sugarcane rum permitted as an intoxicant, but the smoking of reefer is a crime – with thousands of lives ruined for possession on Cannabis, while St. Lucia ranks in the top ten for countries consuming the most alcohol in the World – if this is not hypocrisy then I believe that: 1 Father + 1 Son + 1 Ghost = 1, and I am like the rest of you idiots.

But the Nome-mama of hypocrites are the Priest who get high on wine EVERYDA! RELIGIOUSLY, but oppose the high of the Rasta religion.

How would this new industry be regulated =small farms versus large conglomerates
Who will set production stansdards=
designating land growing regions
THC content standards
Vat
Worker wages etc
Proliferation or trickle down to MINORS
NB My heart goes out to this news excerpt of the stabbing death of a high school junior =in school- because she turned down a date invitation from a loser.
(Sanchez was an honor student and swim team manager who was heavily involved with community service, particularly causes like underage drinking and veterans' services, school officials said.)
The report also stated that he was scowling in anger while being handcuffed -a sure sign of no remorse?

Stabbing & strangulation are truly "personal homicides" often tipped by rage and catastrophic loss of social inhibition.

Sex, chemical substance abuse and alcoholism are 3 addictions that can trigger momentary "sociopathic" tendencies. St Lucia crime scenes are no stranger to all three.
1- Rage with el cutlass by perps who assume they were spurned/ scorned/jilted
2-Manslaughter or negligent homicide associated with chemical substance abuse or alcoholism
3-Rape or forcible pregnancies associated associated with all 3 addictions.

Bloggers consistently bemoan the seemingly wild west lawlessness of the very large decadent side of island culture.

What motivates a child or teen to patiently study or complete academic tasks in the privacy of their home with little or no adult supervision: The self regulating power of DElay of gratification.

Without that internalized power the same student would just as well open windows turn on air clearing fan and light up a Castro sized Spliff= in a free for all un regulated ganja growing /distribution haven.

Upcoming film documentary on surge in Caribbean teen pregnancies.

When Alcohol fueled Sex Addiction Met Ganja freedom fighters.

There is a big difference between the French cultural art of wine with dinner

versus the Stone age (no pun intended) practice of binge drinking to get high.

Studies have supported the intake of moderate amounts of red wine a t mealtimes as enhancing the gastro intestinal processes following meat dishes.

Has MODERATION ever been part of the cultural lexicon of our fiestas, play mas, odes to Bacchus during Carnival, X-Mas partiees, etc.

Prohibition is not the cause of the detrimental effects of Ganja.

Jus like learning Martial arts the cause of physical aggression.

Its all in the mind set. The quick release of social inhibitions (think Frontal Lobe) and lack of arrested or underdeveloped personality developmental milestones.

At the last Amsterdam international Ganja Fair (the commodities and exchange brokerage for the largest legitimate sale of ganja seeds , sample smoking etc in the world- the THC as in get high factor - was near 75X times (not%)the potency of the best Acapulco Gold or Panama Blue or Yardee Blue Mountain crops of the 1970's.

In other words if Bob Marley were to roll a spliff in Amsterdam , he would feel the near to same effects of an adult snorting premimium Columbian powder or a fairly controlled trip on LSD.

Can you keep said potency values of ganja from our current crop of Smart kids?

Yeah the same kids who can teach adults newly discovered tricks for exploiting the capabilities of their IPhones and Galaxy tablets?

St Lucia has experienced brain drain with the cycles of its migrating talent pool.

Lifting of prohibitions will ADD brain BURNOUT -
to that olympian pool of lost talent.

Hypothetically, I am a small to medium ganja farmer in a top quality designated region and of course besides my loyal pure German Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgeback and dependable police licensed semi=auto and double b rifle, infra red sensors and motion detector fortify my acreage.

Should I maim or shoot to permanently stop the surge of landless encroachers from ripping off my valuable harvest.

Many of those new farm raiders are armed urban turf protectors from the warehousing hoods who are now without bales of ganja to protect .

Try this experiment
A sex addict driving a 2014 turbo charged SAAB
an alcoholic driving a 2014 mustang cobra
a ganja addict driving a 2014 BMW turbo
A clean driver driving a toyota accord 2014
The sex addict is sent a Victoria Secret Thong worn for an hour by Saucy Suzee at her gym workout - she places it on his dasbord so that he can timely reminders of his reward for completing this driving mission. Get to Hewanorra Airport to place a parcel on a flight -cutoff time is two hours. This driver also suffers from an incredible scent fetish.
The alcoholic is picked up at his favorite bar and grill and asked to deliver 10 cartoins of Johnny Walker Black to the Bar near Hewanorra airport. He can keep half a carton if he gets it there within 2 hours J Walker is the nicest male friend he has known.
The ganja man is given a compressed bale that looks like golden hay to deliver to a a cargo ship at vVieux-Fort dock.
The clean guy is on his way to Hewanorra to meet family arriving in 2 hours .
Only the Toyota arrives with the three addicts as passengers.

It all unravelled like a bolero on the slopes of the Barre De Lisle.
Sex addict was beyond wiff- in a frenzied chew of the perfumed thong-he lost control and crashed in a ditch.

Alcoholic started talking to Mr Walker between deep sips of his mellow elixir- fell into a slumber while missing a hair pin turn -luckily he was stopped by a tree trunk.
Ganja guy was toting away from the time he exited the morne bypasss and entered the Roseau Valley going East. He was puffing away while chanting wailer staples when he smiled and waved at Bob Marley playing guitar under a Mango tree (mild hallucination) -he careened into a retaining wall.
Meanwhile clean guy act like a good samaritan by picking each of them up on his way to Hewanorra. They snored away as the Toyota cruised the Eastern Highway-safely.

Don't swallow the bait hook and sinker!
to quote you, "Studies have supported the intake of moderate amounts of red wine a t mealtimes as enhancing the gastro intestinal processes following meat dishes."

One would extrapolate from the claimed "enhancement" of digestion by the French Caucasians there would be material evidence of these bogus claims by extended Life-expectancy when compared to the other developed countries? None at all! Don't believe the hype! Getting high/drunk in "moderation" on wine? how about high in moderation on Cannabis? Crack? ? ... Remain Sober!

lol, Ah-waa,

Did you folk at the Voice have to use this photograph of DeCaires?

The man looks stressed and inflamed - The Face of Ganja, looks more like a mug-shot from a prison colony.

Why is this man coming to encourage Lucians to get high? This alien should be declared a person non grata and then deport this pot-head.

Are the police sure this DeCaires entity is not an escaped convict?

Quite so SOM
they offset that vin advantage by eating too much frommage, bon bon, glacee etc
and have a most liberal acceptance about marital affairs
So they clog their arteries with pure creme foods desserts then with a narrow supply of blood circulation live a hyper ventilated lifestyle of decadent sex in overdrive -
swapping husbands and wives to feed their lusty ou la lah!

Sure at that rate cardio pulmonary resuscitation will barely survive a code bllue.

This topic certainly needs to be debated but there are so many things need to be put on the agenda:
Psuedo science both for and against.
Drug awareness education for both young and old.
Economic factors v social factors.
The Grenadian farmer, the views of an ex- oppress of human rights, is not the voice of St Lucia. Remember what's good enough for uncle Sam is not necessarily good for Hewanorra (these where the "ganja" is found).

If Cannabis was decriminalised you would probably attract more tourists who have the potential to spend. In my opinion alcohol is the most damaging drug on the planet but very few people pour scorn or derision on members of the public who get drunk regularly because the activities for a social get together all rely on the booze to make it work.
I applaud the commentary it made a lot of sense, and the majority of cannabis users would not resort to criminal activities such as robbery and violence, it seems ludicrous to then criminalise those who smoke, not the drunks.

All you god supporters remember that Ganja is a natural plant, alcohol is a bunch of chemicals. Listen up you sanctimonious bunch and think about the economics of the country as De'caries states in his piece.

Yes more Caucasians who think you Lucians are a bunch of monkeys.

This is what your typical Caucasian thinks about your millionaire Entertainers:

More Donald Sterling audio has been released ... this time, you can hear the Clippers' owner explaining that he doesn't think he's racist because he puts food on the tables of his his black employees.

The audio -- just released on Deadspin -- appears to pick up where the clip published on TMZ Sports leaves off ... with Sterling's girlfriend V. Stiviano challenging him on April 9th about why she can't post photos of black people on her Instagram page.

GF: "I don't understand, I don't see your views. I wasn't raised the way you were raised."

Sterling: "Well then, if you don't feel -- don't come to my games. Don't bring black people, and don't come."

GF: "Do you know that you have a whole team that's black, that plays for you?"

Sterling: "You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them? Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?"

Sterling also objects when Stiviano compares his attitude toward black people to the Holocaust.

During the conversation, Stiviano says she didn't remove a photo of L.A. Dodgers star Matt Kemp from her Instagram page because he's mixed race and light-skinned and she thought Sterling would be OK with it.

She was wrong.

Sterling also threatens to replace Stiviano with another girl in his life for not getting behind his world views on race.

THIS IS WHAT YOUR WHITE JEWISH-CHRISTIAN THINK OF YOU "RICH" NEGROES

TMZ Sports has obtained audio of Sterling making the racist declaration during a heated argument on April 9th with V. Stiviano ... after she posted a photo on Instagram posing with Magic.

Sterling rails on Stiviano -- who ironically is black and Mexican -- for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down).  But it doesn't end there.  You have to listen to the audio to fully grasp the magnitude of Sterling's racist worldview. Among the comments:

-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)

-- "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want.  The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games." (5:15)

-- "I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people." (7:45)

-- "...Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me.  And don't bring him to my games." (9:13)

Are the Caribbean islands the only ones growing ganga? Look at what happened to bananas. The competition is out there. So how certain are we that we wil generate $300,000,000.

At 1,700 dollars an ounce, everyone will want a piece of the action; therefore you can expect a price decline as the market becomes saturated. I expect a twenty-pack of cigarette-size joints to sell at about two-hundred and fifty dollars taxes included, and wholesale at two-hundred and fifty dollars per pound.

Of course Del Monte plantations and Chiquita in South America will corner the market with trade agreements and mechanized farming. So like a good Dealer/Kingpin stake your turf early, and use our Navy and Air Force to protect the turf - we have the best Bananas, Gros Michelle; just imagine, Gros Piton Reefer, our very own?

Try this: Visit a counselor or treatment interventionist for chemical & substance abuse who works with minors:

This may be extremely difficult as far as the specifics of info you may glean;

I have

Let me share an insidious common denominator for that group .- A sure way to recognize one phase of the addiction.

They lose interest in previously well established pleaures.

Social circles become smaller and more homogenous - reefer smoking buddies mostly.

Especially for 11-13 year experimental users BOUNDARIES are neglected or are shifty as a weather vane.

The younger the initiate and higher THC potency of the "weed' the correlation to being a victimized pawn for "atypical S*X favors by older "power of the stash" dispensers.

There is also a strong correlation for minors to ladder up via the snake of introduction to more e exotic drugs or combinations thereof- especially if the route of ingestion is similar-
witness the 80's explosion of crack usage.

The two correlations described above are in near pandemic rates. In the teeming slums of south east Asia (e.g., Bangkok it fuels the market for underage sex "slaves"

Please consider the vulnerability of minors when you lower the accessibility or decriminalization statutes for adults.

As the evidence shows for Thailand or Cambodia it is the vulnerable subset of minors that are easily pawned by the drug trade.

Saint Lucia's minors would not stand a chance even if if all 238 sq miles of its landscape were carpeted with equal proportions of Bibles=Korans-Talmuds.

There are more similarities between Alcohol and ganja in terms of effects of abuse - pathway to addiction, collateral damages , codependency, access- effect on economic productivity, health and fitness..

Just as all sin is sin
- all addictions are addictions.
