Some steps to solve our problems. That is; the fiscal cliff.
1. Retrench all public servants at all levels which were appointed whether by contract or on the permanent establishment between 2011 and to date.
2. Officers who have already reached the age of fifty and have worked in the service for twenty years; retrench them.
3. Cut the salaries and allowances of the grades 17-21 by 15%.
Cut the grades of 10-16 by 10%
And the rest of the public sector workers by 5%.
Establish a by-partisan committee to monitor the expenditure of government; with more of its members coming from the opposition side; so there would be less bias in favour of the government. Independent repesentatives from the Chamber could also be considered; as well as from the Christian Council.
The objective is to ensure prudent spending and a report (quarterly) should be laid in Parliament; so we the people would be up-to-date with what is happening with our country's finances. Developments on the revenue side; borrowings; investments and so forth.
Can somebody explain why we have to rent so many places for offices when the DAHER MALL idling? We pay 100 000.- rent every month just for 1 office in Rodney Bay Mall. ST.Lucia have really lots of money to waist.

We Lucians must be careful not to return/ or bring in those scumbags to government/or parliament:
Allen Chastanet
Keith Mondesir
Ausbert D'Auvergne
Guy Joseph
Kenny Anthony
Phillip Pierre
Alva Baptiste
Interesting list above; important to note, they all have very similar commonalities. LOL
That's a good start. Keep these bums out.
