The very important thing here which has left a very bitter taste in the mouths of not only civil servants but all right thinking St. Lucians and residents alike are the wastage by the very Kenny Anthony of public funds such as: For Example;
ROCHAMEL: 45 MILLION DOLLARS.
GRENBERG FISCO: 85 MILLION DOLLARS.
BLACK BAY; 168 MILLION DOLLARS plus legal fees involved in these cases; just to name a few. Consultants and high payments with absolutely NO BENEFITS to this country.
The extravagant costs of embassies and consulates abroad etc. etc.
Everyone is FED UP with this Government's WASTE OF PUBLIC FUNDS. And the truth is the very civil servants see this all the time; and are fed up. This is why so much information is out there.
You folks are forgetting that the civil servants know all what is happening in the civil service where they work.
From Permanent Secretaries to the messengers/office assistants.
People tried not talking before; but not now; all the government business is on the streets; because it appears that the civil servants have neither trust, confidence or respect for the government; especially the Minister for Finance.
