Where are the Central Banks in the Region when these Rules are being imposed on us? We are a quiescent people who cannot risk the ire of any Country who would potentially give us a handout. Maybe that explains it.

As a former Chairman of the CFATF? Really? SHAME ON YOU.

This sounds like someone singing for his/her supper.

You should present the realities to the reader. Not this hog-wash. This is precisely why governments in the Region; treat their people like shit. So called consultants providing governments with the wrong advice.

Just PISSING IN OUR EYES; AND CALLING IT RAIN.

Go to hell where you truly belong.

@7,31 don't just spout-off bile and not elaborate. Go on mastermind, what is the alternative?

Bill Clinton and the WTO in the case of bananas. The Wall Street international financial crisis, now this!

The alternative is someone with no political hangers-on; sitting ducks and/or political yard-fowls singing for their suppers; to give people the full and comprehensive coverage of the issues involved.

That kind of crap facilitates crookedness and corruption across the board. Pretending that politicians in this neck of the woods are accountable to anyone? at any time? When elections are generally manipulated as well. A bag of tricks perpetrated by so-called consultants.

These politicians in this region do the worst things; they are accountable to no one; they do as they please; and when they have done the worst things; they look you; barefaced in the eyes; shamelessly remaining in political office at all cost. Thank GOD that the industrial countries upon which our people DEPEND can effect some level of accountability; in one form or the other. If this was not so; we in this region would have ended up eating each others bodies.

Just look at the wastage of public funds in the Region. And name one politician who resigned because of this?

Go to hell where you truly belong.

Blogger above; we do not have far to look. Just look at the case of Guyana itself. It tells alot. One of the caribbean islands to have a University and higher level education for its people; and look at how Guyanese are running away from their country in droves like flies; being treated in the main, like dogs in other peoples countries.

And the same can be said for Jamaica.

The politicians facilitated by crooked and dishonest rascals in political office brought these countries to their bowels; aided and abetted by so-called facilitators like these.
