We need all the help we can get.there is a need to return to basic. It is vital the police in the region see them self more as a service than a force.the training of police officers need to be revisited with focus on setting values and a realisation they are there to serve the people. However frustrated the police become it cannot be acceptable for them to take the law into their own hands.
Law breakers must be brought to justice and let the courts distribute punishment not the police.

That tells you where St. Lucia is at with its Government. They are CLUELESS AND HELPLESS.

Remember they chose to make our friends; the United States of America their ENEMIES?

Lesson No.1 about crime - More than 75% of crime is due to joblessness!

Here's the answer to most of our crime problems: Immediately draw up a multipurpose ten-year job-creation plan AND implement it immediately!

You should maybe also look at 'corruption' in both the police force and the justice system! As this will probably get worse in days ahead with the deals being done with our so called Russian investors!
