How To Clean Up Elections And Cut Costs

Why not just ban political Parties, and instead nominate a council of 'Elders' of qualified persons in various fields, such as Educators, Engineers, Economists, Legal experts, Med: Doctors, etc, etc. To serve a maximum of three years before a new council is adopted.
Earl, if you clean up elections in St.Lucia, the Labour Party would be the first casualty. The wide scale corruption must first be stopped, that alone is impossible since their are so many hangers-on in that Party awaiting to dine at the trough, at Tax payers expense.
