CLICO Policy holders Regroup for Action

You folks are missing a very important component.

You need to demand full exposure on the financial statements submitted to the Office of the Registrar of Insurance at the Ministry of Finance in St. Lucia for at least 7 years prior to knowledge of the CLICO Collapse?

What trends can be seen?

What action was taken by that Office to protect Policyholders' funds?

Was any submission made by that office to the Minister for Finance? If that Office had or recognized issues of concern?

Where are the Statutory Deposits and other Reserves required to be held to the order of the Registrar of Insurance; to assist in the loss of policyholders.

Is there any close relationship between any of the Prime Ministers/Ministers for Finance during the years prior to the CLICO collapse; such as for example, relationships like god-father to any Minister of Finance's offsprings? Or close personal friends known?

These are but a few to start off with. And others will unfold.

We cannot just sit back idly. We must be vigilant and see to it; that Government is transparent and accountable to us; the citizens of St. Lucia whp put them in these offices to manage our affairs; the affairs of this country; for the time we wish them to remain.
