Another Kenny Folly

This article is cheap politics by a writer who does not care about the strategic interest of Caribbean people. Small minded nonsense. Is that what we should expect from a UWP administration?

Jan Rapier is to the VOICE what Jeff Fedee is to the STAR. Any value to their writing is diminished by their apparent obsession with decrying Kenny Anthony the man, not the Prime Minister.

Kenny leads by fear and intimidation. He has remained as political leader going up to 18 years now, not by performance by intimidation. Ask the crew around him. They afraid him like joke.

If anyone had questioned the legitimacy of the guarantee, they would have been gone by then. Dem fellars cannot wait for Kenny to quit. Poor jab PiP. Political dinosaur. Step aside, give young blood chance. EH

There are just too many plain idiots, old fogies, dunderheads, dotish doting, greying morons and retards doing the pre-paid morally-bankrupt and anti-patriotic voting, in both major parties. That is why irrelevant characters like Kenny are still holding sway in both politics today.

Such characters have clearly outlived any ill-conceived or perceived usefulness. They should find a new line of work so as not expense the country by hoarding and reducing to entitlements, such dog-in-the-manger titles as PM and Minister of Finance.

Such-like terribly irrelevant horses should be put to pasture. They should have been retired already.

Such characters are alienated from the realities of the 21st century. Some are chockfull of the FAILED and empty SOCIALIST, embracing the SOCIALISM of CHAVEZ and the COMMUNISM CUBA's CASTRO.

We have only to look at the fate of Guyana and Jamaica to see why TODAY, Saint Lucia is in deep doo-doo.

Consistently inconsistent and all packaged in obviously childlike naivete, we witness repeated unproductive tours of the capitals of the Western World in in hope of attracting Western Capital.

There you have it. Saint Lucian's gullibility is being tested to the max. Therefore, our hordes of idiots are just too happy to believe that such futile trips can carry back water (FDI) to Saint Lucia, by taking a basket (of communism) to the well (of foreign investors).

Better days that. Idiocy kills slowly.

Kenny is the worse thing that ever happen to St. Lucia politics. This man quiets anyone who opposes him. He will go down in history as the most litigious leader ever in the history of the world. Good leaders create leaders. Kenny creates followers with ropes around their heads. What are character! I have absolutely no respect for those around him either. They have absolutely no courage to stand up against this tyrant. Robert Lewis, I thought you were leading that charge. Boy you went cold so quickly. Poor jab. You are a living dead who licks Kenny behind every time you get a chance to. Dat Kenny eh easy.

That is why the CSA should take that outlaw to court. Let that outlaw country bookie be hoisted on its own petard. Cut the salaries and bring out the teargas canisters. There is no turning back. Bring this Mugabe SLP outlaw to justice.

It is darn well disgusting how party machinery can reelect someone with a track record of losing $45 million. Look at the next loss, $86 million. Look at the sequence just a bit. The next figure is $168 million. Some say it is $500 million plus unsettled legal fees.

Starting at $45 million, if you almost double that it registers $90 million which is not too far above $86 million. Now if you double this last financial blunder it registers $172 million. This again is not too far from the actual $168 million. Hey, this model is very reliable one might say.

But lo and behold the number changes if the number for the last known blunder is actually $500 million plus. Ooups! As a manager you would be in even deeper doo-doo.

So how much tolerance do these party idiots and morons have for financial blunders and financial black-holes? You tell me.

The jury is still out on the last blunder. But the pattern is showing at least a near doubling of the absolute figure of the last blunder committed.

At this doubling rate shown by the geometric progression of financial error above, are these idiots and morons about to saddle this country NEXT with perhaps a near billion dollar loss next time around, just to keep their Living God in its positions of power?

CAN THIS COUNTRY PLEASE COME TOGETHER AS WE DID IN 1982 AND RID OURSELVES OF THIS EVIL WHICH PASSES FOR A GOVERNMENT.

KENNY ANTHONY AND HIS WORMS MUST GO; AND MUST GO SOON.

I do not give one damn whether the writer is jan rapier or jeff fedee.

As a ST. Lucian I am not concerned who the hell the writer is.

The issues are what matters. And these issues are all the facts.

So go to hell; where you truly belongs.

Labour Party will be sent to the real wilderness worst than it ever did before. And you can take that to the bank.

It has got to the point where people just HATE KENNY ANTHONY.

In fact we Lucians should print as a slogan "LUCIANS HATE KENNY AND TONY"

It is easy to promote hate. You just have to say it.
The challenge is to come up with an alternative set of ideas that can inspire people to build a decent society.

Can you show me what hate has created? Start thinking before you write. Hate only creates hate.
When hate become the reason for our political actions only hate is produced.

God loves all sinners but hates all their sins.

God hates. God gets into base emotions like anger. Some call it holy anger.

God kills the godly and the ungodly. Now go figure.

Rhetorical cheap shot!! Ms. Jan Rapier probably is unaware that misrepresention & deception are characteristics of inept political gestures. Further, it's simply a sinfull act. "The devil made me do it"! Rapier, if you wish to restore your sincerity and character, stop liming with people like RW & Jeff Failue (just to name a few). Do your research, report responsibly and just maybe your mind & script will be out of the filthy gutters.

Up to now I don't think that any of our many swell-headed PhDs in the SLP administration have got the first clue of the repercussions for public finance, of government loan guarantees.

Least of all would be any understanding of SLP government serially speculative and misguided investments.

We have had because of this, a complete lack of understanding of the compounding impact of serial economic blunderings by a single Minister of Fiance. Let's count the known and the obvious:

Frenwell $45 million
Black Bay $86 million
Grynberg $168 million (plus)
TOTAL = $299 million

So we have been blessed with a financial albatross strung across the neck of Fair Helen, a known conservative figure of OVER $300 million, WITH A LOT OF NOTHING or precious little TO SHOW FOR THAT MONEY!

Now if you look at that pattern of financial profligacy, you would see that the predictive model of THE FINANCIAL BUNGLING, FAILURES AND WASTAGE RATE RETURNS a mathematical sequence of:

x + 2x + 4x.

(Very conservatively, that is, the second amount is twice the absolute value of the first, and the third is twice the absolute value of the second, so far!)

But alas there appears to be (as unpalatable as this sounds to those who constantly drink the Kool Aid) a very alarming tendency to bypass the constitutional provisions placed there to act as checks and balances on arbitrary behaviour, as obtains in Fidel Castro's Communist Cuba.

Therefore, some outlaws have seen it fit to circumvent the provisions embedded in our constitution such that these are not to be allowed to deter, nor to interfere, or save this country from financial or other irregularities: The CCJ, the SECRET deal on Grynberg; and THE CONFISCATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL PRIVATE PROPERTY OF PUBLIC SERVANTS, their wages and salaries.

This is how close already we are to Cuba today!

But if this government outlaw behaviour is not bad enough, the fullest extent of the cost of the last secret investment deal may have been severely underestimated.

Some believe that the financial wastage cost of the Grynberg Affair now stands really at $500 million. That is even without any accounting for the legal costs associated with its litigation.

The predictive model, is indicating that the cost of retention of this state of affairs is now off the charts regarding this case.

The model of financial failure and wastage could well look in reality more like this:

45, 86, 500+

x, 2x, 11x, ... being the progression of financial profligacy and failure.

In other words, the second "opiage" of financial resources is nearly twice the absolute amount of the first, and the last egregious financial blunder is a WHOPPING ELEVEN TIMES AS LARGE AS THE FIRST! (500/45)

If another one of these secret deals is in the works, or has already taken place, (And who knows?), what factor will we have to apply, or to multiply that by?

Opting for the earlier more conservative model it will be:

$45m, $86m, $168m ... of financial profligacy and wastage! Translates into --

x, 2x, 4x, then the next failure PERHAPS in the making, or that which may have been secretly made -- granted this sequence is potentially 8x ($45m x 8 = $360).

Can Saint Lucia afford to retain any Minister of Finance that pours money down a financial black-hole at this rate, such that the anticipated or unknown financial loss may well amount to an additional

8 x $45 million = $360 million!

And again, if the past is any guide to the future, and there being a very good chance for it to recur, there will be nothing substantive to show for all that money! How many people make a million dollars in a lifetime from working?

We face escalating national debt plus mounting interest charges in order to secure the future purchase of any newly-issued bonds. Can we afford to look forward and to accept on top of all that, a POTENTIAL frittering away of yet an additional $360 million? Do you?

....LLL @ 5:12AM: you have become the rear orifice for condescending gibberish; if what the article states is contrary, to the facts make your case....or shut the fuck up!

.....looks like there is not a loan guaranty that the PM sees that he didn't like....call him the shoveller-in-Chief!

Can someone explain the story behind that Black Bay $86m being quoted on this blog?

As a St. Lucian I am tired of reading all the shit Kenny Anthony has been doing; wasting our public funds like no body's business.

I am anxious to hear of the date being planned by all Lucians coming in unity to bring this blasted government down. To rid ourselves of this evil.

To force Kenny Anthony and his worms in Cabinet out just as we did in 1982.

Come on stop wasting time. Schedule a date. I will be there.

@ August 19, 2014 at 7:52 AM, Can you also list the monies lost from the other administration? Daher building, phone bills, the Ti dollars, ... you can fill the list.

Anonymous said...

Wow! Now I can really see why the performance of this Minister of Finance is more than overrated. Rather, it has become a very cruel and sick joke that is being perpetrated on Saint Lucians.

Anonymous said...

This Minister is like a horror movie called 'Finance Minister from Hell'.

What is the date for closing down the country?

We now need to move towards that next step.

To rid ourselves of this evil government. Supporting Fidel Castro and snobbing the United States of America and the Government of the United States.

Talk about the Prime Minister and not the man? What rubbish!

The Prime Minister and the man? Kenny Anthony are one and the same.

A man who, growing up as a young boy and then as a young man; had to face certain degrading situation regarding his parents; and the treatment he received along with his siblings by his father. It is understandable that such an individual would end up with a serious psychological problem; relating to himself as a person; probably even not quite liking who he believes he is; from this unfortunate circumstances of his birth.

It cannot be any good effect to have a child growing up and being snobbed by his own father. This will certainly leave a bitterness in this individual's being/heart.

As well as a serious hang-up/inferiority complex which can manifest itself in many different ways.

Such as for example; hating people; becoming sadistic; evil and wicked. Wanting to control others around him/her.

Becoming a very destructive person. In much the same way; individuals who become hardened criminals become; without a conscience; they commit the most heinous crimes; which was a direct result of these individuals upbringing.

Also children brought up by persons other than their parents in their early years and into their teens; can have serious set backs and end up hating both themselves and others.

In fact their relationship with either one or both of their parents is a frequent occurrence.

THESE INDIVIDUALS REQUIRE MUCH THERAPY TO GET OVER THESE FEELINGS. Very often the die in this way. Hating themselves and others.

Yeah, I get your point.

Kids who grow up in difficult households are unfit for public office/leadership.

Only well supported middle class kids qualify. Even the "brats" who had it all.

And you think you're not a neo-fascist!

Janiform, the emperor with no clothes used to be chauffeured to and from high school. Intra-personal conflict emerging largely from a legally bastard identity is not at all to be conflated with difficult childhoods. Such would be like those being raised by single mothers with Loohshan "village rams" for fathers. You have a right to your opinion and not your own manufactured facts.
Or is that too difficult for your country-bookie brains to unravel?

Wow wow wow. Can you tell me what qualifications the PM has to be Minister of Finance.?

Anonymous said...

No Minister anywhere in the world goes to jail for clearly wasting government's or the people's money.

BUT DOES THAT MEAN THEY MUST BE REWARDED FOR SUCH CRAP, BY A SECOND AND THIRD TIME RE-ELECTION, TO CONTINUE TO DO THE SAME OLD CRAP THEY ARE DOING NOW, OR THE SAME OLD CRAP THAT THEY WERE SO SKILLED AT DOING THE LAST TIME?

Any minister?
