Saint Lucia, to repeat what the report said in just a few words, is idiot country. For the old fuddy-duddies and a large cross-section of the population, their heads hard. They can't and they won't learn $#@%$#-it.

Just saying and looking for answers... how does the same mosquito decide whether you get chikungunya or denque.

and the virus moves so quickly from the south to the north and now is in New Jersey.

Just asking

Wow...I don't agree St Lucia is an idiot country. Ignorant. Yes. Imagine asking the question how the mosquito decides. Wow. The mosquito transfers the disease through biting humans and animals. The needle that pierces your skin is contaminated thus contaminating you. If the mosquito bites a contaminated human or animal and then bites you it passes on the disease. There is some charm in listening to folk tales and cultural stories but wake up...pay attention. The ignorance of many is destroying the island in many ways.

Good form!

Great job of explaining in layman's terms the insidious role of tropical VECTORS.

Now if the officials can hire local graphic artists to draw / paint murals with english /creole text to dramatize your explanation, then it would make for a great med ad campaign.

Keep up the good work.

Rochelle do you think it really matters what name people here wish to call the beast? Perhaps it's better that, whatever and regardless what they say, as long as they take the necessary action to safeguard themselves, families and environment against the virus the Ministry's mission or message would have been accomplished. So what do you think, eh?
