ARREST WARRANT TREATY

Let's hope that request includes the crooked men within Francois's fold who commit crime with impunity. It is all good and well that that is request is geared toward those of the St Lucian citizenry who are deemed "criminal elements," but what of the number of lawmen of this country
and other Caribbean countries comitting atrocities against members of the public and getting away scot free? Or is there a special treaty to shield them from prosecution? Are they included in this treaty? It seems to me that
all Francois is concerned with is destruction. A typical black devil he is, pretending to care about peace and tranquility but all he cares about is making a name for himself at the expense of others regardless of the repercussions.

Is there any other treaty he is interested in signing? Who the hell made him the deity of solutions for dealing with crime? When he finally sheds tat uniform let us see who will give him a medal for his draconian suggestions and actions.

There is no justice in the so called ciminal justice system which is based on revenge. Moreover, the laws of the Caribbean which are based solely on a European model is nothing short of prejudice and discrimination. Why doesn't Francois ask that our people who are in barbadian jails especially be returned in our jails to serve their time. What foolishness is that? An arrest warrant system? Will we sign one with Martinque too, because their people are seldom punished when they commit crime against our nationals. Francois's coat tails are getting too long for him now and he's losig sight of the real problem. When he leaves the Force, will he sit back and savor the results of his so called crime fighting efforts? It's amazing what a little power can do. We have enough problems of our own to deal with. so why is he trying to amalgamate them with the rest of Caricom? Is that the best he can do? Too much effort is put into reactive crime fighting...We need more proactive work. Is Francois incapabale of dealing proactively?
Is that the best he can suggest? If he wants to wear the hero's cape, why doesn't he come up with a better idea? Funny, all these ideas are implemented without consent from our people...they just make decisions for us without consulting with us. Same old game all the time with only a different crown of gray.

No deal.
We all know that torture and inhumane treatment is really part of the package deal of such treaties. They are based on the European system and everything European is destructive.

What the treaty is really about is to kill people in the name of justice. How many of these so called suspects will return to their countries alive to face the courts? Caribbean cops are mostly trigger happy so these so called suspects of crime will be at their mercy even before they are tried and proven guilty in courts of law.
Who does Francois think he is fooling? he might as well say contend that an agreeement will be signed to "kill anyone who tries to escape the law in their own countries for even the most trivial offence." That is the real treaty isn't it Mr. Commissioner? Power does make demons of men!

An arrest warrant system is simply another way of asking for the license to shoot, maim and kill on sight anyone even remotely suspected of committing a crime. Not to mention the wickedness and evil that comes with arresting someone that is not of your own counry for something you're not enough sure they did. That is not good for Caricom and not good for St Lucia. Even if we urge to fight crime,we need to think this thing through.

Whoa Venrnon Francois, hold on now.

We could not have a better Commissioner of Police in Saint Lucia. He is certainly no one's arse licker and no fool.

Any one that the first blogger believes is crooked among Francois' men, is crooked because of the Politicians who led them in that way.

And Francois knows this as well.

So ber-ler-lesh. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Bravo, Mr. Commissioner:
At least we should be able to get some of those corrupt politicians plundering our National Treasuries.

Blogger number 1, why do you stand so disappointed and hostile toward the Commissioner? Why are you so scared of the proposal? Will you be affected? Anyway, I think all right thinking Saint Lucians will welcome the idea. We are actually praying for its acceptance and implementation.

Thank GOD St. Lucia finally got a decent [as best as one can find them]
Chief of Police.

I get the distinct feeling that he is not on any politician's payroll, whether UWP or SLP or LPM.

Way to go, Commissioner! You've got to be the untouchable.

You do not need Politicians to love. When they do, that's terribly bad news for later.

I thought we already have a treaty with France, for Martinique, Guadeloupe etc..

Mr. Commissioner, we need to do something about the crime situation in our own country. Why don't you focus on this major problem at home? All effort should be geared towards solving the crime wave currently plaguing St. Lucia.

The crime wave plaguing St. Lucia has absolutely nothing to do with the Royal St. Lucia Police Force, far less the Chief of Police.

The crime in St. Lucia is and has continued for years to be spurned by the Politicians who pretend to be in our (citizes) interest and are a callous bunch of so-called leaders.

For examples:-
A Prime Minister having sexual relations with young children fifteen years etc. No one said a word in protest.

Monies like the Rochamel scandal costing more than $48 million dollars to us taxpayers, and the Chamber of Commerce and other important institutions said nothing. The Minister of Finance responsible for this massive loss Kenny Anthony has not been made to pay it back.

The Keith Mondesir scandal about Tuxedo, the Chamber of Commerce and other critical Civil Society Institutions said nothing.

The exorbitant salaries paid to Political hacks in the Public Service who really do NOTHING is a crying shame.

The corruption which continues to flourish especially as they relate to Government [Public Sector] Projects leave a very bad taste in the mouths of many in this country.

That Civil Society Insitutions say nothing because if citizens express their disgust at the things they feel are going wrong in our country, they and their families are victimized, by losing or not getting jobs to feed their families.

When we read of the interview with the Minister who recently resigned from the Government and went to the Turks and Caicos to get a job, it tells us that victimsation is very much alive and well in St. Lucia by the St. Lucia Labour Party.

When Kenny Anthony could speak to his Ministers in the way he does, shows that he has no respect for himself, far less for others.

There are many, many more to discuss, but will do this in due time via the airwaves, television and radio.

The young people generally have absolutely no confidence nor respect for individuals in Government, because of the manner in which they behave, lacking respect, dishonest and disgusting.

We are going to be liberated from this mess in St. Lucia and it will not be either UWP or SLP. It will come as a shock when it happens.

The people are getting so fed up with both these Parties, that the unexpected will happen sooner rather than later.

VAT on medicines? ARE-WA.

People in time to come soon while there will not be in Saint Lucia the type of revolution like we've heard occured in France, Russia and Italy, certainly there will be in Saint Lucia a lot of hunger, angry peole and destruction in days to come in our country, thanks especially to Dr. Kenny and his people and their brand of democratic government. Saint Lucia seems doomed to self-destruction!
