So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your Day, lo! We forget you. Taste the doom of immortality because of what ye used to do. (14)

Only those believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate and hymn the praise of their Lord, and they are not scornful, (15)

Who forsake their beds to cry unto their Lord in fear and hope, and spend of that We have bestowed on them. (16)

No soul knoweth what is kept hid for them of joy, as a reward for what they used to do. (17)

Is he who is a believer like unto him who is an evil-liver? They are not alike. (18)

It is sad to hear that government is not according a State Funeral to Honourable St.Clair Daniel. Our government is not even involved in making the necessary arrangement for his farewell. He distinguished himself as a contributor to our democracy in the country and see how government treats his remains!!! RIP

Why would or should government grant him a state funeral?.

This man stifled the democratic process when he was house speaker.

Daniel, as speaker of the house of assembly, upheld our democracy and was a decency man. He was comical but fair. Matthew, claudius and peter cannot reach his height. I bet those rascals will expect to be granted a state funeral when they are deceased.

Mr Daniel has done his part for St.Lucia . It really saddens me to read some of the comments posted.
Rest in peace Sir I did not know you personally however I grew up with you.
May you rest in peace and may your family celebrate your life and Service to St.Lucia.
