WOW! Kenny Anthony's administration won't be back. Alas. What a shame, a great disappointment and a mess.

I read an article in the Star Newspaper regarding the resignation of Ubaldus Raymond as a Minister in Kenny Anthony's Government, and how sickening to see that Kenny Anthony's so-called tears to the Nation and St. Lucians was really a farce.

Kenny won't ever change. These are scars from a long time ago. He suffers from a serious inferiority complex.

This is a clear trait from persons with an inferiority complex. They treat people callously and with disdain.

Dr. Ubaldus would have made a great contibution in St. Lucia. Emma Hippolyte cannot match up to Ubaldus' toes.

Kenny wants only persons who can 'suck-up".And that's terrible for the country.

Remember the firing of Rick Wayne, Tessa Mangal and Patrick Joseph, for voting with a conscience?

Shame, shame, shame.

A good article by Micah on the political situation where both parties have lost their way.

Unfortunately politics is no longer about "serving the people" but about getting as much as you can get while in power.

Two of the best examples are the past and present Mnisters of Foreign Affairs - two arrogant useless characters unfortunately from the same part of St. Lucia on the west coast.

Two idiots you say? One was so smart he felt that he could fool the government of the US. They gladly showed him the door. That UWP jackass went on to spend time in a US jailhouse.

VAT has been discussed for many years by both parties. It's implementation was inevitable. There are several other islands that have implemented it. One would think that lessons would have been learnt from these other countries to help with our implementation. As usual, we do things in a piecemeal approach. Instead of getting things right the first time (or at least getting close) we prefer to fix things when they go wrong. The VAT on medicines is something that should have come up before the implementation. I believe Dr. King brought it up but...
As for the political scene, the politicians (from both parties) have no love of country, just love of self.

There is an absolute dearth of leadership in Saint Lucia. There are no two ways about that.

Unfortunately, there is absolutely no shortage of people jockeying for the title and position of leaders in this same Saint Lucia.

Thus the blind are leading the blind and in such a situation, the one-eyed man becomes KING.

The main and glaring problem is that those persons, both inside and outside of the country, continue to fool themselves and an extremely gullible electorate, backed up by a jackass idiotic and self-serving talkshow hosts, kid themselves and other the gullible, that these highly self-appointed and wiley buffoons whose images they try hard to polish, have leadership skills.

Yes, these buffoons manage to get the votes of a largely ignorant population that refuses to do self-education of our institutions, our government, our budgets, and our economics.

Some people in the public service for example, do not even bother to read any self-developing or self-educating literature, once they get their political yardfowl jobs.

At every opportunity they get, they draw on their limited knowlegde or their robotic emotional support for their respective parties, for guidance in the selection of largely more ignorant people than themselves for ministerial positions in government.

The narcissistic manipulators from John Compton and up to this very day, are just as happy to oblige, by surrounding themselves with less than ignorant candidates for selection to parliament.

Our teeming hordes of mindless airheads see reflections of themselves in key leadership positions and feel safe and comfortable in the belief that idiocy is good for them and is good for Saint Lucia.

After all, idiots can become prime ministers in Saint Lucia. Garbage in. Garbage out.

From top to bottom, Saint Lucia continues to wallow in a festering miasma of duplicity, incompetence, ignorance and idiocy. The country is really positioned between a rock and a very hard place.

Little wonder some say that Saint Lucia is idiot country.

Yeah right. You only see King and Compton . What a hypocrite.

Saint Lucian leaders past and suck big time! One screw-up follows after each other.

Did you Micah really expect to meet with these officials? They couldn't careless about how VAT affects us. They earn a fat salary and perks every month that cover VAT and miscellenous expences. Too many of them lack the necessary qualification for the job they hold. Beside, they don't think nor can they think for themselves. This is the situation we are in today in this country.

Line up all the past PMs except Louisy and what do you see? A phalanx of monkeys going through the motions. Nothing of substance. But these monkeys do give themselves airs, huge salaries, salary upgrades, pensions, place-names, and foreign travel.

Who really pays for the continuance of all this freaking crap?

Foolish party followers waiting for political crumbs and paying taxes for pappyshow politics. Bands couyons!

Imaagine that. An errand boy becomes PM in Saint Lucia in the 21st century. Then you give him a billion-dollar budget to manage. Only %$%$# wholes will ever stomach this kind of crap happening to their country.
