It could be that there is no intention to have this potentially excellent facility up and running, the majority of people would rather keep the status quo; It appears to me that a huge majority of people commit crime, being caught is the shame not the deed. Even some law, makers and enforcers, are involved in illegal activity so why would they want things to change. Someone recently stated that it was great to live in such a free country, when I questionned what they meant they told me 'you can get asway with anything here, even murder its paradise'

Mr. Murray's article must be heeded by all of us St. Lucians.

I ask the following questions.

Who heads the Ministry responsible for the Forensic Laboratory?
Both in respect of its Permanent Secretary and its Government Minister?

Do those individuals took the time to understand the issues, processes, activities and significant implications of operating a half-cocked Laboratory?

What about the Minister responsible for FINANCE. Has he been informed of this situation.

And if so, does he appreciate the implications of this for St. Lucians?

Mr. Murray must also enlighten the Public on the significant and dangers of operating a half-cocked not prepared Forensic Laboratory.

The Television Broadcasting Stations need to invite Mr. Murray to enlighten us.

For too long and too often, have politicians upon politicians insist on taking us in St. Lucia for a long, hard and tortuous road to destruction.

Everything they do, must be some mamaguy. We must begin once and for all to expose their wretchedness and bring them to account, and to account responsibly.

Good work Mr. Murray.

Blogger above, one now wondeers whether any provision was made in this Year's budget for such an important project.

Were any requests made for financial provisions?

If so, did the Minister for Finance reject it. Or if any funds were approved, how much was approved relative to the amount requested.

The fact that the Police Officers are expressing concern, says clearly that there is need for urgent attention and swift remedial action.

What is our Commissioner of Police saying on this situation?

Take heed.

Mr. Murray's concerns must now be brought to the attention of the government. Both Mr.Murray and other citizens must undertake the responsibility. (I'll do my part)However, my growing suspicion is that government itself may not be too interested in taking the necessay corrective measures cuz at present there are too many people in or near the top of the hierachy who have vested interest in criminality.

Mr. Murray get your facts straight before making such assertions. Your comments are intended to discredit not to uplift and provide meaningful solutions. Next time try to be a part of the solution and not be the problem.
