Pardon the following attempt at satire:

Perhaps the 'sharks' let it bleed (PAC in absentia + Incomplete audits)
-the better to home in on their "frenzied" feeding forays or turfs.

It is not incomplete audits. It is unpresented financial statements for audit. We keep thinking that it is the Audit department but before the an audit can be done, statements have to be prepared and presented for audit. That is the responsibility of the Accountant General(The Treasury). WHY is the Treasury not producing financial statements? and the BIGGER question. What is the Government's budget based on? - Certainly not audited figures.
For many years the Director has been saying so but no one cares. The reports can be accessed on the audit website. Take some time and read those reports if we are interested in true accountability and transparency

BRAVO Director of Audit.

I hope you are not a political yard-fowl for the United Workers Party.

If you are not; I applaud you. Then you have saved St. Lucia from becoming a failed state.

The citizens must now turn on the Government; the opposition in parliament like rattle snakes.

This move by the Director of Audit speaks volumes to the world; about the management of the affairs of the finances of this country.

Again I say; if the Director of Audit is really an independent professional civil servant. I take my hat off to you.

You are St. Lucia's hero! par excellence!

The longest serving Head of Audit; since this Department was established was one Arlette Hyacinth; for FIFTEEN YEARS. From 1993-2008.

One George Noon served as Head from 1964 to 1974.

Another Mc. Clair Daniel also served for ten years.

I believe the fifteen years of 1993-2008 need now to be carefully examined by the current Head of Audit.

When did this current administration come into Office?

The last estimates of expenditure placed on the Government's Website for we St. Lucians to view and examine is the one of 2008/2009.

From that period it is not there for the public's viewing; which speaks to accountability and good governance in the operations of the country.

Secondly; the most current Auditor General's Report is 2003.

We are now in 2014. Can we see the Auditor's Report for 2004-2013 on the Governnment Printery's Website.

They ought to be more up-to-date; please. As a matter of accountability in Government.

The hench men of the corrupt and crooked crooks called politicians and the politicians themselves need to be properly exposed; for the world to see.
