It borders on the mendacious for anyone to claim that a private sector business makes sacrifices for the good of the population at large. One has to be a jackass to ever believe any of that.
The purpose of the pursuit of carrying out any business is to create value for its shareholders. That is irrespective of whether the ownership shares are privately or publicly held.
Any sharing or distribution to the public at large with any notion of sacrifice would mean that the business would eventually fold. Businesses only make outright donations to the public out of profits, or indirectly by way of advertisements and PR activities. And all of that would be expensed and charged to expense account.
It is a distortion of the truth to try this type of sleight of hand. It is time to make the current economic hardships count. It is past the time for all of us to turn the page and distance ourselves from all our lying politicians, both in and out of government.
Let's get real. Let's be factual.
Let the necessary change that this country is suffering ... for its lack, start with each and every one of us.

It is expected parents would defend their siblings at all cost. All businesses serve their own selfish interest at the expense of the poor. How much they give back is the key question ?
Kenny, Michael and Allen Chastanet has a ménage-a-trois going before and after the 1997. When Kenny visited Saint Lucia during his days at CARICOM, he and the Chastanets regularly broke bread together. Allen used his contacts with Butch Stewart to give Kenny the rundown on tourism. Kenny traveled on Butch to see Sandals hotels around the region. Michael Chastanet was a regular in Kenny's office when he was PM. Now their cake burn and they want to take us for fools with their false dislike of each other. You can fool the people some time but not all the time.

Things are getting very bad in St. lucia. I am Caucasian and worked in Nigeria and various African countries.

The American Civil War, also known as the War Between the States or simply the Civil War, was a civil war fought from 1861 to 1865, after seven Southern slave states declared their secession and formed the Confederate States of America (the "Confederacy" or the "South", which grew to include eleven states). The states that remained in the Union were known as the "Union" or the "North". The war had its origin in the fractious issue of slavery, especially the extension of slavery into the western territories.[N 1] Foreign powers did not intervene. After four years of bloody combat that left over 600,000 Union and Confederate soldiers dead and destroyed much of the South's infrastructure, the Confederacy collapsed, slavery was abolished, and the difficult Reconstruction process of restoring national unity and guaranteeing civil rights to the freed slaves began.
