I have had problems with this brand. Perhaps, it is much better today as suggested by this write-up.

Payless shoes are basically one day shoes. A waste of money. Why the hell did they choose St Lucia?

Payless sells cheap plastic shoes. Any time go into that store I get sick from the stench of all plastic shoes.

Is this a store to pay more, and why in Baywalk, what about the poorer communities who need good quality affordable shoes for their children? Some people won't be able to afford their bus fare to go to Baywalk, a mobile shoe store would be more welcome I'm sure.

One wonders this. Is it a matter of paying less for each pair, but paying much more for their replacements? Value for money, in these hard times, anybody?

Payless coming to St.Lucia would have been even better if they were setting up factories to manufacture the shoes they want to sell in St.Lucia. But if the idea is to import shoes from abroad to sell to St.Lucians, I don't see how this can help the economy beside the couple of workers they will hire.

And the store should be in Castries; not Rodney Bay.
