Tourism and the hospitality industry is one of the most corrupt industries ever to be encouraged in the Caribbean. It ought to be banned. For 400 years we as negroes went thorugh the agony of Slavery. Yet, we still choose to be servants to Caucasians. Rather than instill in our children the need to be self sufficient and encourage them to learn a trade and to rely on the natural resources of their countries for survival we still have them serving the white man with a smile. Tourism is the continuation of the slave plantation, only that we now get a few measly dollars for the modern day enslavement of our people. When is it ever going to end? When we think we are free, we are still in subjection to the white man and those well to do blacks who pretend to be on our side. I say, ban tourism in the Caribbean...we can live without that industry...it's morally wrong.
