I knew him a little bit at the personal level. I have pleasant memories of talking to him on two occasions. He always seemed like a nice caring person and a good mixer, granted his family background and ethnic grouping. He always sounded very well-rounded and empathetic to the plight of those less fortunate than himself.

Not being an SLP supporter, I still cannot figure out up to today, that for a community that spoke as if they would claim independence from the rest of Saint Lucia, how and why Vieux Fortians ever came to adopt Kenny Anthony.

Kenny never sounded like, nor looked like, or ever identified with anybody from Vieux Fort during his youth. He was only transported back and forth to school there.

A very sore point, the Mangue has remained practically the same from the time of the deceased MP went into elective politics, up to today. Rest in peace.
