St. Jude Hospital's state of health and operations together is a metaphor for the nation state of Saint Lucia in general, and even moreso, the efficiency and effectiveness of the Prime Minister-cum-Minister of Finance-cum-Vieux Fort Parliamentary Representative.
One wonders therefore, whether the level of dysfunctionality has bottomed out? Is there still many more such "better days" to follow before, or is the situation still yet to find its nadir, and slide further to an even lower point?
