Reading this article; just gets me raving mad. And the urgent need for KENNY ANTHONY and his goons to demit office. These fellars and gals are killing our country; and fast.
Saint Lucian is imploding on four fronts: economically (intolerable unemployment), financially (a debt problem with no resolution), medically (hospitals stressed and bursting at the seams with problems, and socially (a strike rate of one shooting per day). Tell me this: Who the hell is in charge?
Saint Lucians are very naïve. It is with utter dismay that when I look at the larger picture, there is still not any hope for a critical mass of initiatives to shake the very foundations of developmental inertia seeded by our convoys of relaying jackass politicians, who stride through the corridors of the highest decision making body in the country.
The Parliament is still the locus for purely political theatre, and operates largely as an extension of what takes place outside, on the political platforms and in the recent perambulating 5%-cut town-hall gatherings.
Imagine coming around to tell people how bad a situation is, when they themselves are taking the brunt of the all the associated hardships. What a price to pay for callous political theatre!
Who needs this kind of obviously futile attempt at political manipulation in this day and age?
Is this gloomy picture of St. Lucia really true? As a St. Lucian I am very concerned.
This cannot continue to remain as is.

Da People require OUT OF THE BOX thinking for saving or rebuilding a 21st century hospital.
Perhaps on said completion of this engineering marvel of ingenuity, I can consider as a viable option to ran my annual battery of medical examinations - WHILE ON VACATION.
Paying for thisi option out of my foreign wallet would be a proud thank you.

The modern perversion to convert or rob Public tax fund to profit private capital hedge funds controls is in full market industrial brokerage agendas and practices.
Remember the era of junk bonds and hostile takeovers
Only now they use a gentler machine gun hand to shred public equity to ruins in order to convert it to private controls
God help St Lucians. You must see now that the government will not help you. If they're sick they go away, so what does it matter to them.
