GO TO HELL BLOGGER ABOVE.
What the HELL do you mean by proper English.

To speak like a bloody European, Canadian or American.

WE ARE ST. LUCIANS AND WE SPEAK DAMN WELL ST. LUCIAN. GO TO HELL.

One thing is for sure we do not become yankees or cocknees overnight. That is to say, those of us who know better.

We not like you overnight yankees or cocknees living "up there" in ghetto Castries where all the CRIMES EXIST.

GO TO HELL; I say again.

BRAVO COMMISSIONER FRANCOIS. WELL DONE. WAY TO GO and your men of valor.

Commissioner Francois, all right thinking persons in this country applaud the work you and your officers are doing. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Like ALL institutions here in St. Lucia, there are "slackers'. The Police Force is not immune to this. Numerous officers are decent; hardworking and proper. They need our support.

Like any other institution the police force is not immune to this phenomenon.Where there is need to discipline or send home any who are not fit to be there; as we say "fit and proper"; then they should be dealt with.

CONGRATULATIONS COMMISSIONER Francois and the men and women of the RSLPF. We Lucians are very proud indeed.

In this day and age; too many St. Lucians in the Castries area in particular; believe we who hail from Choiseul, Laborie, Soufriere are supposed to adopt the way of speaking as they forcefully try to talk like BRITISH citizens. The
"MIMIC MEN" as the famous writer VS. NAIPAUL once put.

Be yourself. Do not be like a MONKEY.

One think for sure; I have never heard any broken english language being spoken by Commissioner Francois.

And blogger No. 1 how do you describe what is spoken by the Barbadians; Trinidadians and for that matter Americans from specific states in the USA and Brits in specific counties in Britain; they speak in their own expressive language.

You all just do not recognize that we in the South speak in the way we were taught by none other than our teachers. That is where we were taught english and pronunciation.

So if any of us Lucians decide to copy our speaking more like the Europeans or Americans; then adopt that style; but do not say; I speaking BAD ENGLISH; when a Lucian speak like a Lucian.

Put that in your red and yellow pipes and smoke it.
