Nina To Promote Our Culinary Delights

Not to take anything away from the beloved Nina Compton, but the SLTB would make us believe that St.Lucia is suffering from a lack of international exposure; as if the Piton Mountains, the Sulphur Springs, the annual jazz festival, our two nobel laureates, the year round Sandals ads, and the two Bachelor episodes (season 14 & 18 finales) have not done enough; and it's Chef Nina who will save the day.

For some unknown reason, the folks at the SLTB have decided to put all of their eggs into one basket: the 'promotion & advertising' basket. It never occured to them that word of mouth is far more effective than what we are currently doing. And word of mouth only gets around when people come and see a clean and safe St.Lucia. So start cleaning up our tourist sites; let's take pride in our surroundings and watch the tourists come.
