The Importance of ‘Closure’

All so true. Life is suspended after such an event and sadly the authorities do not seem to consider the rights of those affected by crime. There does not appear the need to communicate, and those who ask appear to be treated with disdain.

Does our government really care if we do or do not get closure on our missing or murdered persons! I would say they don't, they just want to line their own pockets with as much money they can get from the country and forget about the rest of us and our missing/murdered persons! bring on the justice for all! For me I want to see all get justice/closure but as a friend I want to see Gobats murderers brought to light and get justice served! TIME TO UNMASK THE CORRUPT!

To the Corrupt! 'You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time - but cant fool all the people all the time!- Abraham Lincoln.

So true writer. I used to be proud of being a St. Lucian but not anymore. I had plans to return to St. Lucia but now I'm thinking, a lack of leadership, an ignorant population and a palpable lack of civility have caused me to change my mind. St. Lucia needs a cultural and mind revolution. Development is not only about fancy houses and cars, not about questionable ideology or even technology, it's first about the mindset and mentality. It's about social organization and the imperative of economic efficiency and competitiveness. Sadly the nation has a long way to go.
