do anybody know what are the rescue plans from the opposition to get out of our financial mess?
I agree the PM is not a master when it come to handle the finances of the country and the portfolio should be separated from the PM, but the opposition have to come public with a master plan to convince the public, and not only by criticizing.

@7:24AM Truth is you are right on both counts that the PM and his cabinet do not seem to have any answers to our economic malaise and the UWP seem just as clueless as to their plan to extricate us from the morass. Frankly no opposition political party in the history of Saint Lucia has done anything like what you are suggesting make pronouncements of a working alternative economic plan what they do is criticize loudly and excessively during thier term on the opposition benches and on the campaign trail and present a manifesto. If they had any workable solutions they treat them as trade secrets or are afraid to disclose them for fear of them being trashed by the government (no matter how pragmatic) because it will show off the government as not having ideas or to avoid the "why could they not thought of that" public reaction.Looks like we do not seem to have enough persons with a problem-solving mindset and expertise either in our politics, private sector, or civil society and that is certainly cause for concern.
