I understand a minister has said try to use it. You have to be very careful because the salt in it will mash up the vegetation.

This is a warning for dumping rubbish in the ocean and using too many modern chemical processes.

...'residents are being urged to see what purpose they could use the algae to benefit them'?...who is in charge here?...where are the experts?!

An individual wrote recently in this newspaper, that the poisoning of the planet, land, sea, and air affecting climatic change, know as Global warming was nothing to be concerned about; he described the effects as an insignificant "ant bite".

He should try telling that to the fishermen, or ask them, "why are they winning like frightened infants??"

Begat ad infinitum?

Somewhere in the early part of the Old Testament there are pages of this person begat this person and on and on...

No wonder Jesus was needed for that renaissance.

The liberal reading of this and other verses that urge rampant multiplication of our species is case for serious pause.

How can we ascribe the limitless bounty of original Eden to the sore limitations of our Earthly fall from grace (@ post eating from the forbidden tree.

Now I know our atheists shall scoff at the simplicity of "the legendary folk tale of all folk tales"

However, if you utilize all its symbolic elements, cause and effect variables via the en vogue Artificial Intelligence paradigm- voila- the flow chart comes to the same terminal point as the scriptures
dire warnings..

Our embodiment of the following nasty habits has steadily built up -if not exponentially- despite the profound consequences embedded in the rich "symbolism of Noah's Flood saga or Lot's Fire & Brimstone tribulations at Sodom:

Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride

LUST- An insatiable need for sex or things of a sexual nature. This includes thoughts, desires, and actions. If this need is unfed, it can lead to masturbation, rape, and even beastiality. Lust is fed by any of the aforementioned means or viewing pornography.

Gluttony- Over indulgences of anything to the extreme, usually food or drink. Alcoholism is considered part of Gluttony. Drug abuse= Gluttony.

Greed- Greed is the need for material possessions or material wealth. If this need is unfed, a Greedy person may even resort to hoarding their goods, theft, robbery, or obtaining any material possessions by means of trickery, violence, deception, or manipulation. Greedy people usually are easy to bribe, or will take any bet or do anything for a dollar.

Sloth- Sadness, depression, or the inability to feel joy. Sloth is often confused with Gluttony, though I don't know why. Those who suffer from depression to an extreme usually have thoughts of or plans for suicide. Many times, Sloth can lead to another sin: Wrath. Those who have lost or lack love, usually fall into a deep state of Sloth.

Wrath- Extreme anger, rage, hatred, or a need for vengeance or revenge. People who suffer with Wrath issues will often resort to taking the law in their own hands if they feel the justice system has failed them. To feed the need of Wrath, they may even turn to physical abuse of themselves or others, murder, or even genocide. Wrath usually is a need to do harm to others. Dante described Wrath as "love of justice perverted to revenge and spite"

Envy- The need to have better or be better than others. The need to have the goods of others. Wanting what others have for you. Many times, someone with extreme Envious needs may turn to voyeurism to feed the need to see what others have that the envious want.

Pride- once considered a need to be the most beautiful, Pride can also mean a need for public acceptance in all acts. Pride can also be a need to be more important than others. Those who suffer with Pride issues, usually fail to give due complements to others, but instead fish for complements for them selves. They find ways to be better than those around them and usually have a "One Up" story. Pride is said to be the original and most deadly of the seven sins, leading straight to damnation.

For these reasons alone we continue to PISS OFF Mother Earth - and we in our overly liberal dogma believe with fanatic zeal that there are no limits to our contemptuous abuse of this planet -our current space ship.

Whiskey bottles, and brand new SUVS
Mango tree you're in my way

There's too much coke and too much smoke

Look what's going on inside you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you
Angel of darkness is upon you

Stuck a needle in your arm

So take another toke, have a blow for your nose

And one more drink fool, will drown you
Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

from song sung by LYNYRD SKYNYRD

substituted words
Mango for Oak
SUV for cars

Sargassum seaweed is really good for wildlife and for fish. It gives the fish a place to hide. Sargassum seaweed comes from the North Atlantic area called the Sargasso Sea. In the summer, currents and wind conditions cause the growth to break free and drift through the Caribbean and into the Gulf of Mexico.
It stops when the winds change in the fall.

Seaweed helps the environment. Even though we humans don't like the seaweed but it's an ecosystem. Small fish, plankton and even seahorses often wash ashore with the seaweed. It's not the seaweed that smells as it dries, but the dying organisms inside it that causes the stench. Looks like we need to start monitoring it as the levels are higher than in previous years.

If only we had the venture capital to launch COMPOST CONVERTERS LLC

What a bundle of dough we could make

Plus if we could go inter island with our mission?

Oh well day dreams evaporate much too soon.

Nice concise Sargasso Sea explanation.

VGood form indeed!

Now If only that Micoud Beach Picture included the following;

Empress Rigo (sans Givenchy suit + Prada Stilletos)
in pink wellingtons, low level bio hazard gear,

with a pink shovel , leading a large group of Micoud citizen volunteers

as they shovel the seaweed into the vehicles of Troumasse River watershed farmers for rinse and compost stations on their farmlands:

Now that would be a sight to behold

That's why I love QE11

Off the throne she tends to her dogs and horses in her wellingtons -like a caring conservationist.

How I enjoyed the photo op of QE11 and one of the little great grands sharing an IPad learning moment.

The Empress has Einstein abilities but needs to immerse in real grass roots issues and wrestle with the stubborn sociological issues that undermine nation building

-from the bottom up too

Even Obama Care with its universal good intentions is too big for the #1 nation on Earth

Bandaging antiquated island hospitals is as quixotic an ambition as the Don's charging of the proverbial windmills.

A national plan is sorely needed with embedded preventative & holistic practices that emphasize community health & well being.

Prevention is not only better its cheaper than cure.
