Welcome Ellis. Glad you are back because the Voice needed a real transformation. Faithful readers like myself had come to view the Voice as a political ragtag with lousy news reporting and writing. Editorship was a disappointment for ten years. Good bye Marquis!

You should look how stlucianewsonline has a quick turn around of articles. You should be doing more to hold politicians to account, on both sides.

Make sure you give Micah a real make-over. He needs to become a true journalist and stop mixing up commentary, opinion and news reporting. Discontinue Earl's babbling. He is not an authority and much less everything. He needs to fully understand that his brand of politics are not welcome on a family paper.

What has Micah done to you, that you have made it a religious practice to denigrate the brother.

Here is an individual who gives us the raw facts of the story without the personal self aggrandizement and narcissism of the weightlifter, yet you have never once expressed an appreciative word for the brother.

Like your fellow Lucians being abusive towards the people of ALBA for giving them a FREE BRIDGE, you abuse Micah for bringing you factual information. What is the problem with you critters and Arrogant Beggars?

Micah is a cool and unassuming guy. There's no doubt about that. The criticism of his work should only serve to assist him travel his journalistic journey. Thus Son-of-man's portrayal of Micah as a flawless journalist does not help him in the development of his career at all!

Son-of-man. You are dead wrong. Micah does not give readers "raw facts". He tends to be biased and often gives readers very limited information to make personal decision. He also tend to sugar-coats information...However, to be fair, some of the problem can be attributed to the haste to meet deadlines for publication of a story. Ellis should correct this big problem.

there does seem to be a general thought in some of these blog comments. It is this:If a blogger or bloggers or the newspaper management and owners disagree with a person's point of view or writing style then it is fit for rejection. That does not work well for press freedom and democracy.
Some St Lucians seem hell bent on destroying every institution in the country

Elucidate because your message is not coming across clearly enough. I would love to add my penny worth to your own comment. Your unclear message means that right now you too can learn a thing or two from the criticisms leveled at Micah.
