Now things are beginning to make a lot more sense. Chastanet can't get enough in Saint Lucia, or rather he senses a failure of his leadership and therefore attempting to take the back door as an exit to move to St. Kitts to run with the opposition. The responses from most of the bloggers strongly suggest that they have no knowledge or understanding of the West minister /whitehall system and the democratic processes which are an integral part of a democratic system.
The situation in St.Kitts is a very serious violation of democratic principles and Caricom as a reginal institution should be condemning this action.By not allowing the motion to be tabled in the house is behavior that is expected in communist countries ,but not in a democratic country.
The other leaders in caricom will not condemn this action (hiding behind non-interference)simply because some of them are currently engaging in similar(though not as bad)undemocratic acts in their own countries.
Look at our situation.The opposition is prevented from raising the GRYNBERG ISSUE in the house because the government will not allow it.No discussion is allowed,meanwhile tax-payers money is being spent and no word as to how much and who is getting paid.This behavior on Kenny's part is undemocratic.
It will soon be three years since UWP made the court challenges to the results of the babonneau and Gros Islet seats.
The question is WHY is it taking so long for those cases to be called and decisions given?
Will another general election be called with those two disputes not settled?
One should recall that the former police commissioner's case was held back(his lawyer was Estephan-KENNY's lawyer.and a decision given a week before the 2011 elections.Are we going to see a similar behavior for those two disputes?
Time will tell.

Isn't these examples of interference in other countries business by leaders of other countries?
These leaders will do anything to stay in power,including un-democratic actions.
Of what use is caricom if it cannot condemn highly un-democratic(communist behavior)on the part of a member country?
Instead of applauding Chastenet for condemning the behavior of the ST. Kitts government,some of you chose to talk rubbish .
But there is a reason for this.Why condemn this behavior when your party leader(KENNY)is engaging in un-democratic behavior right now.
Why y'all sic bloggers had no problem with Ralph Gonsalves asstaphane,Skerrit and all the others that use to be on platform for Kenny Anthony, but y'all have a problem with Chastenet giving his views on what's going on in st.kitts. y'all make me sic to my stomach!! Let's bury the messenger but keep the message alive. The current ruling governments of Caricom will abstain or have a negative view on the motion of NO CONFIDENCE because of the domino effect it can have across the rest of the Caribbean. They are just securing their shaky seats.
