You don't have far to go. I think the LPM have layed the facts down before our very eyes.In my humble view they have champion this cause on behalf of the people of St Lucia. The government can't pretend this is new.

The Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs know all about St. Lucia's dissatisfaction with their representation in South Florida, but they are too arrogant and lacking balls and vision to do anything about it. The minister of Foreign Affairs had such promise, once he got into office he lost his sense of doing what is right, and what is best for St. Lucia and St. Lucians.

We cannot say the St. Lucians in South Florida have been silent on this issue. They have written to the Minister, the PM, and have told whoever would listen about the current Consul General and how inept he is. There were letters in the news papers, and many online. The man is tired, has been there for about 14 yrs and has done nothing for St. Lucia, and do not service the St. Lucian community well.

The Consul General asked a good friend and former executive member of the St. Lucia association who is well connected and well liked and respected by us to join him as a staff in the consulate to finally make some things happen. The Minister said no, and he sent his people from St. Lucia and called the man a UWP - which is not true.

The government is playing politics with every position. The PM may not care, but the Minister forgets he has to run for re-election and we pay our families bills in St. Lucia and often we advise there how to vote and for whom.

So far this Minister has not been a friend of the St. Lucians in Florida. He left us with this incompetent man who does nothing for us or our community. Try calling him for anything, either his voicemail is full or he does not return your call.

Mr. Minister, we need better representation. You know we do.
